I'm Lauren Caravello (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, offering individual, virtual therapy and coaching, to Nevada and Washington state residents.

Establishing Caravello Counseling was the realization of a long-held dream for me, born from years of dedicated training and experience in mental health.

With a Masters in social work from The University of Michigan, and extensive training in behavior-based therapies including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice.  My journey has taken me through various settings, including non-profit organizations, group practices, and community mental health centers, where I honed my skills and gained invaluable experience.

Now, as an independent practitioner, my focus is on providing personalized care to my clients and sharing the knowledge I've acquired. At Caravello Counseling, I blend a person-centered approach with evidence-based strategies, prioritizing the development of a strong therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of successful treatment. By integrating concepts and techniques from behavior-based therapies, I aim to introduce clients to more effective ways of engaging with the world around them.

My commitment extends to creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment where clients feel supported and empowered. If you’d like to learn more about me feel free to check out my clinical background and Psychology Today profile.
