Get to Know Me

I'm Lauren Caravello (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, offering virtual and in-person therapy, to Nevada and Washington state residents.

Starting Caravello Counseling was the realization of a long-held goal, born from my passion & interest in understanding and supporting others.

With a Masters in social work from The University of Michigan, and extensive training in behavior-based therapies including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I’ve worked in in various practice settings including non-profit organizations, group practices, and community mental health centers.

Now, as an independent practitioner, my focus is on providing personalized care to my clients and sharing the knowledge I've acquired. At Caravello Counseling, I blend a person-centered approach with evidence-based strategies, prioritizing the development of a strong therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of successful treatment. By integrating concepts and techniques from behavior-based therapies, I aim to introduce clients to more effective ways of engaging with the world around them.
